Why combined painting and carpentry matters.
Most exterior paint jobs on older coastal homes involve at least some timber repair. Rotted fascia boards, checking window sills, swollen door frames, damaged eave lining — these all need to be fixed before good paint can go on. If you paint over damaged timber, the paint fails faster and you've just spent money covering a problem rather than solving it.
Because we do both, we can assess the carpentry and the painting together, quote both in a single written scope, complete the carpentry first, and paint over a sound, properly prepared surface. One crew, one schedule, one invoice.

Coastal timber maintenance.
Timber on the Sapphire Coast deteriorates faster than inland NSW — salt, humidity, and the wet-dry cycle open cracks in unprotected surfaces and allow moisture to work in behind paint films. Fascia boards, window sills, deck boards, and eave lining are the most common failure points. When we're assessing an exterior repaint, we also assess the timber — and tell you what needs replacing before paint goes on.
Holiday home carpentry.
We regularly manage carpentry jobs for absentee property owners. We can liaise with your property manager, work to a schedule that fits around guest bookings, and provide photo updates. Tell us at the time of quoting and we'll factor access requirements into the plan.
